We have partnered with global leading manufacturing organisation who are looking to appoint a European HSE Manager to work in partnership with the Global Head of HSE and support the implementation of the global strategy across 7 of their European manufacturing facilities, 2 large warehouses and regional sales offices. They are seeking candidates who are ideally based near the midlands who can travel monthly to their sites across Europe.

As the European HSE Manager you will be accountable for driving change and embedding the safety culture across these sites. The European HSE Manager will be responsible for:

- Implement and embed the HSE strategy across their European operations
- Implement a roadmap to support with project to gain global ISO accreditation
- You will be a hands-on leader, understanding where you can make an immediate impact and what the long-term goals will be
- You will drive cultural change, bringing HSE and Compliance to the forefront
- Coaching, managing and developing senior stakeholders will be essential, for you to drive change and enable individuals and the business to be more proactive
- Managing large projects across the European operations
- Development and monitoring of accreditations - ISO 14001, 45001, and 5001

The European HSE Manager candidate will have experience of:

- Must have experience of working within an automotive, aerospace or engineering environments
- NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent as a minimum, ideally CMIOSH
- Must have proven experience managing change across sites in Europe / multi site environment
- Knowledge of European legislation is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of machinery - LOLER / PUWER regulations
- Proven leadership skills - the ability to engage at all levels is vital
- Previous experience of managing HSE large projects across a multisite environment and dealing with large capex projects
