Description

A construction engineering and maintenance contractor is looking for a Safety Supervisor to join their team in the Toledo, OH area. Based at one of their main offices, this person will be responsible for driving forward safety performance across their sites - ensuring a commitment toward the corporate EHS goals.

The Role:

• Advise all operational, project and maintenance teams at the sites on safety issues - ensuring all employees remain committed to establishing an industry leading safety culture
• Undertake safety inspections, incident investigations and audits as deemed necessary
• Maintain files on questionnaires, third party liability and insurance carriers as required 

The Candidate:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or related technical field
• Strong communicator who is able to effectively engage with key internal and external stakeholders across all business levels
• Able to work autonomously and solve problems independently 
• Ability to travel around the Toledo area as required
