Our client, a prominent player in the sustainability sector, is seeking a Carbon Engagement Manager to join their dynamic team in London. This is a key role focused on stakeholder engagement and communications within the field of carbon strategy and sustainability.

The Carbon Engagement Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining a clear carbon narrative for the organization, collaborating with subject matter experts and internal teams.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key carbon stakeholders, including internal teams, local community representatives, government, media, and investors.
  • Collaborating with the learning and development team to provide carbon content and insights for colleague training programs.
  • Working with internal teams to support ongoing communication efforts, including internal comms, media, and marketing.

The Carbon Engagement Manager will have:

  • Extensive experience in sustainability communications and stakeholder engagement, with a strong track record across various channels and audiences.
  • Ability to engage confidently with a range of external stakeholders and represent the organization in external forums.
  • Up-to-date awareness of sustainability opinion formers and UK policy landscape related to sustainable business.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
