Our client is a leading player in the aviation industry, dedicated to environmental sustainability and committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Carbon Strategy Manager to join their Sustainability team in London.

The Carbon Strategy Manager will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with industry groups, academia, and external bodies to stay updated on market developments impacting the company's net-zero objectives.
  • Conducting in-depth research and analysis to support the company's carbon strategy, monitoring policy and market developments, and identifying emerging solutions.
  • Maintaining climate-related financial disclosure practices, lead the development of the company's annual carbon footprint, and ensure decarbonization requirements are integrated into budgets and activities.
  • Representing the company in external technical forums, discussions, and groups on carbon net-zero issues as needed.


The Carbon Strategy Manager will have:

  • Technical expertise in monitoring and managing emissions related to climate change.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to translate technical information into strategic insights.
  • A passion for sustainable business practices and a commitment to decarbonizing operations.
  • Relevant graduate or post-graduate qualifications and knowledge of technologies and legislation.
