We are committed to delivering sustainable and renewable energy solutions that contribute to a greener future. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contracts Manager to join Our client on a long term contract basis

Position Overview:
As a Contracts Manager, you will play a critical role in managing all contractual aspects of projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that our contracts are well-drafted, effectively negotiated, and successfully executed to safeguard our interests and optimize project outcomes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, contractors, and legal advisors to develop and implement robust contract management strategies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and administration of a wide range of contracts, such as supply agreements, construction contracts, service agreements, and maintenance contracts.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and assess potential contractual risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements throughout the contract lifecycle.
Supplier and Contractor Management: Evaluate and select suppliers and contractors based on project-specific requirements, negotiate terms and conditions, monitor performance, and manage relationships to ensure delivery of quality products and services.
Contract Negotiation: Conduct negotiations with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable terms, pricing, and contractual conditions while balancing business objectives and risk management considerations.
Change Management: Manage change orders, variations, and amendments to contracts, ensuring proper documentation, approval, and communication of changes to relevant parties.
Contractual Disputes: Support the resolution of contractual disputes and claims, liaise with legal advisors when necessary, and negotiate settlements to protect the company's interests.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, monitor key performance indicators, prepare regular reports, and provide accurate and timely updates on contract status, risks, and issues to project teams and senior management.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and automation in contract management activities to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and optimize contract outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications in contract management or procurement would be advantageous.
Proven experience (5+ years) in contract management, preferably in the offshore wind or renewable energy sector.
Strong knowledge of contractual terms, conditions, and legal frameworks relevant to the offshore wind industry.
Demonstrated expertise in drafting, negotiating, and administering complex contracts.
Experience in managing multiple contracts simultaneously, working under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and legal advisors.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and assess contractual risks and propose appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
Proficiency in contract management software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
