A local chemical manufacturing company is seeking an EHS Site Leader to lead their program based in the Springfield, MO area.  The EHS Site Leader will be responsible for providing leadership in safety and overseeing the EHS Specialists at the plant level.  The successful candidate will be expected to take a hands-on role, communicate effectively, and is not afraid to mentor. 

 The Role: 

• Provides guidance on occupational health and safety to maintenance and production personnel
• Responsible for the compliance of all state and federal environment regulations
• Champion of the process safety management processes
• With corporate support, implement company safety standards
• Develop and implement safety standards and policies

 The Candidate: 

• 3-8 years of EHS experience
• Background in chemical manufacturing and PSM experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage others
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational, Environmental, or Engineering Sciences
