We have partnered with a leading manufacturing organisation who are looking to appoint a Head of HSEQ to lead and develop the strategy across their sites in Scotland. As the Head of HSEQ, you will be accountable for driving change and developing the safety culture within the group.

The Head of HSEQ will be responsible for:

- Create, develop and implement the Group HSEQ strategy working closely with the board and senior leadership teams
- You will be a hands-on leader, understanding where you can make an immediate impact and what the long-term goals will be
- You will drive cultural change, bringing HSEQ and Compliance to the forefront
- Coaching, managing and developing senior stakeholders will be essential, for you to drive change and enable individuals and the business to be more proactive
- Lead a team of HSEQ professionals
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally

The Head of HSEQ candidate will have:

- Experience of working within a manufacturing or engineering environment is essential
- Proven experience of developing HSEQ strategies
- Experience of managing multisite operations is essential
- NEBOSH Diploma, ideally CMIOSH or working towards
- Knowledge / experience of auditing - ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
- Previous experience of managing a team
- Proven leadership skills - the ability to engage at all levels is vital
- Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence
