Job description

We are looking for an HSEQ Officer for 2-3 days a week to strengthen our client's team. In this role you are responsible for inspiring colleagues to actively implement and follow up the HSEQ policy and to pay constant attention to health, safety, environment and quality. Your mission is to integrate safety into the daily behavior of colleagues and thereby promote the safety culture within the organization.


Main responsibilities

Preparing, supervising and following up on RI&E studies.
Support in further shaping company's HSE policy, with an eye for the dynamics of a growing start/scale-up organization.
Guiding and supporting projects/departments through sound HSE advice and coaching in HSE matters.
Guaranteeing quality, safety, health and environmental aspects by, among other things, conducting safety rounds.
Identifying hazards or deficiencies and the ability to assess and rank risks to enable effective evaluation and communication of required actions.
Supervise and support inspections and audits of projects, sites and offices, and ensure that they are conducted in compliance with laws and regulations.
Investigate and report incidents that address the underlying causes, not just the consequence.
Monitor HSE policy compliance and ensure that the relevant parts of company's Systems (Gas, CO2, Lab & Headquarters) implement it and implement corrective action where necessary.
Keeping administration of HSE aspects in order, for example registration of actions, keeping compliance documents, setting up policy documents, and reporting on compliance.


Requirements

A completed Bachelor's degree, preferably also a safety study such as MVK/HVK;
Relevant experience in a technical/manufacturing sector;
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role;
The ability to understand the relevant HSE legislation and interpret the requirements of this legislation as it applies to the business activities.
