Safety Coordinator

A manufacturing organization is seeking a Safety Coordinator to develop the company's safety program for their location in Orange County. The incumbent will work closely on Health and Safety programs, culture, and compliance.

The Role:

  • Develop, strategize, and implement a long-term plan for H&S function 
  • Providing practical and technical expertise, advice, and solutions
  • Communicate and build a strong HS culture for the company
  • Influences management to drive HS performance

The Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in OHS, IH, Physical Science/Engineering
  • 3+  years of Health and Safety experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience with managing and implementing at a site level
  • Experience with HS policy, procedures, and compliance
  • Strong communication skills, ability to lead and coordinate with employees at all levels
